Esenca Istre
Festive packaging for Esenca Istre by Vinakoper — a traditional panettone developed by chef Tomaž Kavčič, and the round boxes that carry the rest of the gift range.
Esenca Istre is Vinakoper's Christmas gift line from Koper, in Slovenian Istria. The panettone is Kavčič's recipe: dried figs, grapes, a salted element and hazelnut cream, sold alongside a deep red liqueur wine of the Cipro grape bottled in a flacon.
Two wraps, one system. The panettone is folded into printed paper and tied with twine — slate blue with a gold and white rosette repeat — with the note card printed to be read while the parcel is still tied. The second wrap is plain cream, closed with wide black grosgrain, and carries the tag: traditional panettone, by Tomaž Kavčič and Esenca Istre, under the Vinakoper mark. The round boxes take the same rosette inside the lid, where it is seen only once the box is opened.
